Showtime: 09:30 to check in (mandatory). Refreshments provided.
Picketing: 10:30AM until approx. 12:30PM.
***PROBATIONARY PILOTS: We need your help and unity to make this event a success! Please e-mail us at DALpicketing@alpa.org if you're able to contribute on June 30th. We need pilots who can assist with checking in, training, and logistics during the event. You will NOT be in uniform, you will NOT serve in any public-facing role, and you will NOT hold a picket sign.
Summer uniform, no ID’s, Green lanyard.
Secured bag storage is available at GICC.
Directions:
- by car: Drive to 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, GA. Enter Convention Center Concourse off of Camp Creek Pkwy. From Convention Center Concourse, take the first right into the parking lot for “GICC Arena.” Enter GICC through the glass doors. Turn left and follow the curvature of the building around to “Salon 8.” Parking at GICC lot will be paid by ALPA (details will be provided in the briefing).
- from airport: Exit baggage claim from the west side of the domestic terminals and cross the street towards the hotel shuttles and the Skytrain. Take the Skytrain one stop to Atlanta West/GICC. At the ATL/GICC stop, exit the station towards the sign “GICC/Gateway Center Arena.” Take the elevator to the first level. Walk straight out of the station towards the GICC “International Ballroom” and enter through the glass doors. Salon 6 is directly inside the doors.
- from training hotels: Take hotel shuttle to airport, then Skytrain (see "from airport” above).
